Therefore, when we lay out the keywords, we will also lay out different keywords according to the weight of different pages of the website:
- The core keywords are located at the apex, only two or three keywords, use the home page optimization
- The next level of keywords is equivalent to the tower body part, there may be dozens, placed in the first level classification (or channel, column, navigation page)
- Once again, the level is placed on the second-level classification homepage.
- More long tail words are placed at the bottom of the keyword, placed on the specific product page (or article, news, post)
Such a pyramid structure can be seen that the long tail words at the bottom usually account for half or even 70%-80% of the traffic of a website, but the heat of the long tail words is relatively low, so it is difficult to pay attention, so we will target some The words with large traffic volume are focused on, that is, some pages with higher weights, and we assign them the words “high traffic and low competition”. Therefore, we should try to find out these words with “high traffic and low competition” and make reasonable choices, and then the remaining ones will be covered with long tail words. Therefore, we should consider such a traffic situation when we expand our keywords. We can divide the keywords into two parts, some of which are keywords with “high traffic”. We need to select the analysis and then lay out some weights. The other part of the website page is a very large number of long tail words, we need to use a variety of tools to collect regularly and to the greatest extent possible.

Through the above steps, a keyword table can be obtained, and then the words with high search popularity are selected to perform the following keyword expansion.
